In my last post i will tell u how to break windows admin passwd using command prompt and in this we check ip address of PC to track someone...i will tell you some tricks earlier which is useful....:) so plz keep commenting on our posts..also give suggestions about our blog...also visit daily for latest tricks and Tech...:):):)
Every computer, wireless device, or other gadget connected to the Internet has an IP address. IP addresses are numbers separated by dots. To view your computers IP address in Windows XP go to the start menu. Click on run. Type cmd in the box and then hit OK.

But its quite different in linux bcz in linux it done through Terminal.
The command prompt will appear in windows. Type ipconfig. This shows my modem and here is my IP address. Notice the first three groups of numbers - 192.168.1 All the computers on my network start with these three groupings of numbers. One computer ends with a .44, another is .46 and so on. You'll likely find your network to be similar.
In linux run terminal and then type ifconfig. This will show your ip address.That's it.
